Was just surfing the World Wide Web and came upon this little gem. Apparently Americans really don't understand politics and don't know what GOP stand for. Though this is an embarrassing statistic for us, it is a very telling one. The message here is that when speaking of politics, do not refer to the Republican Party of the GOP. People do not vote as it is and if politicians continue to speak using that acronym then how are people going to understand and then vote? Voter turnout in this nation is below 50 percent and we are going to keep shrinking it unless we start catering to all Americans when speaking of politics. It's sad too because only 51 percent of Republicans knew what it stood for. Fantastic.
